Mario Sironi

Mario Sironi (Sassari, 12 May 1885 Milan, 13 August 1961) was an Italian painter, among the initiators of the twentieth century artistic movement in 1922 in Milan. He was also a sculptor, architect, illustrator, set designer and graphic designer. In the 1930s he theorized and practiced the return to mural painting.
