Leonardo Dudreville

(Venice, 4 April 1885 Ghiffa, 13 January 1976) was an Italian painter, among the initiators of the twentieth century artistic movement in 1922 in Milan. He was a leading exponent of the return to Italian order during the twenty years. In 1924 Dudreville left the "Novecento" movement, attracted as he was by another tradition, different from the Italian one claimed by his friends, to turn in the direction of the extreme realism indicated by the New German Objectivity, but filtered by him through tradition, also of extreme realism.
